As a Dispensary Support Learner, you will be integrated into the Dis-Chem team to acquire hands-on experience and knowledge about the pharmaceutical environment and dispensing processes.
- Facilitate the sale of Schedule 1 medicines and scheduled substances.
- Assist with call centre operations and patient service inquiries.
- Provide health promotion information to individuals.
- Support the authorization process for chronic, HIV, AIDS, and oncology medication schemes.
- Report stock discrepancies and shortages to the dispensary manager.
- Manage receipt and storage of dispensary stock as per company SOPs.
- Assist in stock merchandising and maintenance of dispensary and OTC areas.
- Perform accurate picking, packing, labeling, and medication checks, ensuring pharmacist verification.
- Follow up on patient scripts and appointments as requested by the dispensary manager.
- Completion of Grade 12 with Mathematics (HG) and either Physical Science or Life Science.
- Minimum average achievement of 50%.
