Overview:
The Government Printing Works Internship is aimed at graduate students and recent graduates who wish to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of printing and publishing. Responsibilities:
- The intern will be involved in designing and arranging official documents.
- Operating and maintaining printers.
- Working as a team member with others to maintain production standards that are high level.
- Confirming the quality of prints through inspection methods called quality control check.
- Contributing towards new techniques for manufacturing printed products.
- Engaging actively in project planning & implementation.

Qualifications:

- Adobe Creative Suite, CorelDRAW etc are some graphic design software programs that one should be familiar with.
- Knowledge about printing processes and equipment is limited but necessary.
- Communication with other people is a skill that can only be developed over time alongside cooperation within groups.
- You must know how to organize yourself because you may find yourself working on several assignments simultaneously while observing tight deadlines.
Requirements:
Aspiring candidates must be between 18-35 years old South African citizens interested in the print industry who want grow further within the sector. During this period interns will have full-time jobs hence they need to always report at GPW office when designated by superior.
