The Clinical Nurse Mentor plays a crucial role within a supportive team that offers formal professional support to Nursing Staff in General Practice settings. This role involves fostering self-assessment, analytical thinking, and reflective skills among the staff members. The Clinical Nurse Mentor follows the Clinical Mentor/Assessor Guidance while working across a group of facilities to ensure consistency and quality in the support provided to the nursing staff.
Technical Work Responsibilities:
- Give recommendations on clinical issues and challenges.
- Conduct clinical audits and develop plans for quality improvement
- Organize and facilitate discussions on specific cases.
- Ensure positive outcomes for quality care indicators, such as ART, TB/HIV integration, and PMTCT.

The main objective of this initiative is to ensure the population of Free State Province enjoys long and healthy lives through the achievement and maintenance of HIV/TB epidemic control. USAID will work towards this goal by focusing on specific strategic objectives.

Aurum is looking for a technical advisor to oversee the implementation of HIV/TB prevention, care, and treatment services in public health facilities and community settings, ensuring excellent service quality and smooth coordination between facility and community support services. The position will be under the supervision of the project Chief of Party and will be located in the Free State Province.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise for the development and implementation of effective HIV/TB prevention, care, and treatment strategies.
- Ensure complementarity and collaboration in project activities.
- Establish a quality assurance program for clinical and technical aspects of the project.
- Adapt global and regional resources and tools to meet local needs.
